Alarm monitoring

Someone keeps watch, only if you want it.

We connect your alarm to Securitas’s alarm monitoring centre, licensed and staffed around the clock. An operator checks every alert and contacts the people you’ve chosen.

Each to their own job, clearly

DeepSense is not an alarm monitoring centre and does not attend on site when an alarm goes off. Here’s who does what.

01

Us, DeepSense

We design and install your alarm, present the monitoring centre’s offer to you, then connect the alarm to the centre.

02

The Securitas monitoring centre

Staffed around the clock, it receives every alert. An operator checks what’s happening, then contacts you, your contacts or a guard, as you’ve arranged.

03

You

You choose who is contacted, in what order, and whether a guard should attend. You sign directly with the monitoring centre.

Our partner monitoring centre: Securitas

Alarm monitoring for our clients is provided by Securitas, an alarm monitoring centre licensed by the FPS Home Affairs. We install and connect the alarm, Securitas checks the alerts.

Useful, or not needed?

Useful when nobody can respond to an alert: premises holding stock or expensive equipment, a shop, a house that’s often empty.

Not needed if you simply want to be alerted on your phone and decide for yourself: a connected alarm is enough. We’ll tell you straight during the site visit.

How it works

From the alert to a guard on site

  1. 01

    The alert

A detector is triggered. The alert goes to the monitoring centre, and to your phone.

  2. 02

    The check

An operator at the monitoring centre checks the alert to find out whether something is really happening.

  3. 03

    The call

They contact the people you’ve chosen, in the order you’ve set.

  4. 04

On site, if you’ve chosen it

A guard from the monitoring centre goes to the site. This is a service of the monitoring centre, charged per call-out.

The contract, fully transparent

You sign directly with the monitoring centre, on its terms and at its rates. We present its offer with our quote, and we connect your alarm.

To present this offer, we act on behalf of the monitoring centre, which pays us a commission. We’d rather tell you before you sign.

Without a monitoring centre, the law requires you to register your alarm with the police, online, within 10 days of it going live: we’ll guide you through it.

The equipment remains yours, with or without alarm monitoring. Owner or tenant: what changes

With or without a monitoring centre, DeepSense Care offers the annual service of your alarm, which the law requires, and its updates.

Alarm monitoring: who is it useful for?

01

Offices and professional practices

Useful if nobody can respond at night and the premises hold expensive equipment. Otherwise, a connected alarm is often enough.

For an office
02

Businesses and shops

Stock, a till, late opening hours: an operator checks the alert and contacts the people you’ve chosen.

For a shop
03

Your home

A house that’s often empty, or long absences: someone checks for you. Otherwise, the alert on your phone is enough.

04

Buildings and co-ownerships

Rarely needed for common areas; useful for a garage or a room holding equipment.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask us

Who monitors my alarm?

Securitas, our partner: a licensed alarm monitoring centre, staffed around the clock. It isn’t DeepSense: we install and connect the alarm, Securitas keeps watch.

Is alarm monitoring compulsory?

No. Without a monitoring centre, you’re alerted on your phone and decide for yourself what to do. You then register your alarm with the police, online: we’ll guide you through it.

How much does alarm monitoring cost?

The monitoring centre sets its own rates, in the contract you sign directly with it. We pass its offer on to you with our quote, so you can see everything before deciding.

Who comes out when the alarm goes off?

A guard from the monitoring centre, if you’ve chosen that service; it’s charged per call-out. Otherwise, the people you’ve named are contacted. DeepSense does not attend alarm call-outs.

Can I add alarm monitoring later?

Yes. The Ajax alarms we install can be connected to a monitoring centre after they go live. Just ask us: we present the monitoring centre’s offer and make the connection. Depending on your installation, a SIM card may be added.

Need a monitoring centre?

Let’s talk about your premises: we’ll tell you straight whether alarm monitoring is useful for you, or whether a connected alarm is enough.
